Millie Bobby Brown is a British actress who rose to fame at a young age. She is the third of four children born to British parents, Kelly and Robert Brown. Her family relocated to Bournemouth, England, when she was four and later moved to Orlando, Florida, when she was eight. Brown was born with partial hearing loss in one ear, which eventually progressed to complete deafness in that ear. Despite this, she pursued her passion for acting, showcasing resilience and determination.

Millie Bobby Brown’s education was unconventional, as she was homeschooled to accommodate her burgeoning acting career. Her talent was discovered during a weekend acting workshop, which led her family to move to Los Angeles to support her aspirations. This decision proved fruitful, as she quickly landed roles in television series such as “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” and “NCIS”. However, her breakthrough came in 2016 when she was cast as Eleven in Netflix’s “Stranger Things”. Her portrayal of the telekinetic girl earned her critical acclaim and multiple award nominations, solidifying her status as a rising star.

In addition to “Stranger Things”, Brown has appeared in major films like “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” and its sequel, “Godzilla vs. Kong”. She also starred in and produced the Netflix films “Enola Holmes” and its sequel, showcasing her versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.

On a personal note, Millie Bobby Brown married Jake Bongiovi, son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, in 2024. The couple resides on a farm in Georgia, where they care for numerous animals and run an animal rescue organisation. Brown has also been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, using her platform to advocate for children’s rights.
