Born: 2 May 1974, Bromham, Bedfordshire, England.
Growing up, Matt Berry displayed a keen interest in music and comedy. He honed his skills by participating in local theatre productions and exploring various musical instruments. Berry attended Nottingham Trent University, where he pursued a degree in contemporary arts. During his time at university, he became involved in the local music scene, performing with several bands and developing his unique musical style.

Matt Berry’s career took off in the early 2000s when he began appearing in various television shows and films. He gained recognition for his role as Douglas Reynholm in the popular British sitcom “The IT Crowd,” which showcased his comedic timing and versatility as an actor. This role earned him a BAFTA Award for Best Male Comedy Performance in 2011.

One of Berry’s most notable achievements is his work as a writer and star of the critically acclaimed television series “Toast of London.” This surreal comedy series, which premiered in 2012, follows the misadventures of eccentric actor Steven Toast. Berry’s portrayal of Toast garnered widespread praise and further solidified his reputation as a comedic genius.
Beyond his television success, Matt Berry has made notable contributions to the world of voice acting. He has provided the voice for characters in “Watership Down” and “Disenchantment.”
