Laura Haddock was born to a reflexologist mother and a financier father. She spent her formative years in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, where she attended St George’s School. Growing up, Haddock was always drawn to the performing arts, a passion that would shape her future career.

At the age of 17, Haddock made a pivotal decision to leave school and pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She moved to London and enrolled at the Arts Educational School in Chiswick, a prestigious institution known for nurturing young talent.
Laura Haddock’s early career was marked by a series of small roles in television and film. She made her television debut in 2008 with a guest appearance on the British comedy series “The Palace”. Over the next few years, she continued to build her resume with roles in shows like “Honest” and “How Not to Live Your Life”. Her breakthrough came in 2011 when she was cast as Lucrezia Donati in the historical fantasy series “Da Vinci’s Demons”. This role brought her significant recognition and opened doors to more prominent opportunities.

In her personal life, Laura has experienced both joy and challenges. She married actor Sam Claflin in 2013, and the couple welcomed two children together: a son named Pip and a daughter named Margot. Despite their seemingly perfect life, Laura and Sam announced their separation in 2019, a decision they described as amicable and mutual.
