Born: 22 May 1988, ReykjavÃk, Iceland.
After completing high school education, Heida Reed made the decision to pursue professional training overseas. She moved to England to study at the prestigious Drama Centre London where she learnt her craft.
Reed’s career breakthrough came when she landed one of her most significant roles as Elizabeth Chynoweth Poldark in the hit British period drama series “Poldark”. Her portrayal of Elizabeth showcased not only her stunning beauty but also revealed layers of complexity within the character that captivated viewers worldwide. The role catapulted Heida into international recognition while earning critical acclaim for her outstanding performance.
She went on to star in various other projects, including notable television series such as “Silent Witness” , “DCI Banks”, and the Icelandic crime drama “Stella Blómkvist”.
Reed has also performed on stage apearring in Henrik Ibsen’s “The Lady from the Sea” at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre, receiving critical acclaim for her performances.
