Born: October 30, 1989, Moseley, Birmingham.
Claudia Jessie’s passion for acting was evident from an early age. Growing up in Birmingham, she fell in love with the performing arts and actively participated in school plays and local theatre productions. Her natural talent and dedication paved the way for her future success.
After completing her primary education, Jessie attended King Edward VI Handsworth School, where she continued to nurture her passion for acting. She later pursued a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts at the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Claudia Jessie’s career began to soar as she embarked on a series of impressive performances across various mediums. Her breakthrough came in 2012 when she landed the role of Amelia Sedley in the television adaptation of William Makepeace Thackeray’s novel “Vanity Fair”. Her portrayal of the kind-hearted and innocent Amelia garnered critical acclaim and introduced her to a wider audience.
Since then, Jessie has continued to make her mark in both television and film. Notable highlights include her role as Eloise Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series “Bridgerton”. Her captivating performance as the witty and strong-willed Bridgerton sister won the hearts of viewers around the world, further solidifying her status as a rising star.
In addition to her television work, Jessie has also showcased her talent on stage. She has appeared in numerous acclaimed theater productions, including “Romeo and Juliet” at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and “Wendy and Peter Pan” at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
