Ben Barnes attended King’s College School in Wimbledon, where he actively participated in school plays and musicals. His passion for acting led him to pursue further education in the field. He enrolled at the Kingston University in London and graduated with a degree in Drama and English Literature.
Ben Barnes made his breakthrough in the entertainment industry with his portrayal of Prince Caspian in the film adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” in 2008.
Following the success of “Prince Caspian,” Barnes took on various notable roles in both film and television. One of his significant roles came in the form of playing Dorian Gray in the 2009 film adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s novel, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” His performance was praised for capturing the complex nature of the character.
In 2015, Barnes starred as Sam Adams in the historical drama miniseries “Sons of Liberty.” His portrayal of the influential American revolutionary earned him critical acclaim and further solidified his position as a talented actor.
Barnes continued to expand his repertoire by taking on diverse roles in films such as “Seventh Son” (2014), “The Words” (2012), and “By the Gun” (2014). He also ventured into the realm of television with appearances in popular shows like “Westworld” and “The Punisher.”
