Born: 27 April 1986, Blackpool, Lancashire, England. 

Jenna Coleman, born as Jenna-Louise Coleman attended Arnold School, an independent school in Blackpool, where she participated in school plays and developed her passion for the performing arts.

After completing her secondary education, she was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, one of the most prestigious drama schools in the United Kingdom. Her training at RADA provided her with a strong foundation and prepared her for the competitive world of acting. 

Jenna Coleman first gained recognition for her role as Jasmine Thomas in the soap opera Emmerdale. However, it was her portrayal of Clara Oswald in Doctor Who that truly catapulted her to global fame. Coleman’s three-year stint on the show received widespread praise, and her character became one of the most beloved companions in the show’s history.

Following her success on Doctor Who, Jenna Coleman took on the challenging role of Queen Victoria in the TV series named after the iconic monarch.
