Mini Biography
Born: 3 February 1970, Epsom, Surrey, England.
Warwick Davis began his acting career at the age of 11 when he was cast as the Ewok Wicket in the film “Return of the Jedi” (1983). He went on to play several other roles in the “Star Wars” franchise, including Weazel in “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (2018).
In addition to his work in the “Star Wars” universe, Davis has appeared in several other films, including “Willow” (1988), “Leprechaun” (1993), and “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (2001), where he played the role of Professor Flitwick.
Davis is also known for his work on television, including the BBC series “Life’s Too Short” (2011-2013), which he co-created and starred in. He has also appeared in several episodes of “Doctor Who” and “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.”
Outside of acting, Davis is a passionate advocate for people with dwarfism. He is the founder of Little People UK, a charity that provides support and information to people with dwarfism and their families.
Davis has been married to his wife Samantha since 1991, and they have two children together. In 2014, he was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) for his services to drama and charity.
