Mini Biography

Born: 13 July 1940, Mirfield, West Riding of Yorkshire, England. 

Patrick Stewart’s first major breakthrough came with his portrayal of Captain Jean-Luc Picard on the hit sci-fi series “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. His commanding presence and powerful acting skills made him an instant fan favorite, leading to numerous other high-profile roles both on stage and screen.

Throughout his illustrious career, Stewart has received numerous accolades including Emmy Awards, Golden Globe nominations as well as being awarded knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to drama. He has also been recognized for his contributions to various charitable causes.

Off-screen, Stewart is known for his activism around social justice issues such as women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights. He has used his platform to raise awareness about important causes through speeches at events like Comic Con or interviews with media outlets.

In recent years he returned to television screens worldwide reprising one of his most iconic roles – Jean-Luc Picard – in CBS All Access’ Star Trek: Picard which was met with critical acclaim from fans old and new alike.
