Born: 6 March 1980, Liverpool, England.Â
Shaun Evans was raised in Liverpool within an Irish family. His father worked as a taxi driver while his mother held a job at a hospital.
Evans received a scholarship to St Edward’s College in Liverpool’s West Derby suburb, where he actively participated in school productions. After completing a course at the National Youth Theatre in London, he relocated to the city at around 18 years old to pursue his studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
After completing his education, Evans began his career in the entertainment industry. He made his professional acting debut in the Channel 4 series “Teachers” in 2001. This marked the beginning of a successful career for Evans, as he went on to appear in various television shows and films.
One of Evans’ career highlights is his portrayal of the young Inspector Morse in the popular TV series “Endeavour,” which is a prequel to the long-running detective drama “Inspector Morse.” His performance as the intelligent and enigmatic detective has earned him critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
In addition to his work on “Endeavour,” Evans has also appeared in other notable television series such as “Silk,” “The Last Weekend,” and “Whitechapel.”
