Rose Williams grew up in a creative household. Her mother worked as a costume designer and her father was a gardener. This artistic environment likely influenced her early interest in the arts. Williams initially pursued fashion, working at a clothing store at 17 and studying the subject. However, at 18, she decided to shift her focus to acting, a decision that would shape her career.

Rose Williams began her acting journey with a role in the British medical drama Casualty in 2014. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Princess Claude in the historical drama Reign, a role that required her to live in Toronto for three years. Her career continued to flourish with appearances in series like Medici and Curfew. However, it was her lead role as Charlotte Heywood in the adaptation of Jane Austen’s unfinished novel Sanditon that truly cemented her status as a rising star.
