Born: April 17, 1995, Manchester, England.

Phoebe Dynevor is the daughter of actress Sally Dynevor, known for her role in the long-running British soap opera “Coronation Street,” and screenwriter Tim Dynevor. She attended Cheadle Hulme School, where she landed her first professional acting job at the age of 14, playing Siobhan Mailey in the fifth season of the BBC school drama “Waterloo Road” (2009–2010).

In 2014, she appeared in the second series of the ITV mystery drama “The Village” and from 2015 to 2016 played Martha Cratchit in the BBC One period drama “Dickensian.” She then had a supporting role in the BBC drama “Prisoners’ Wives” as a gangster’s daughter Lauren. In 2016, it was announced Dynevor would be starring alongside Luke Pasqualino and Rupert Grint in Crackle’s crime comedy series “Snatch,” making her American television debut.

Her breakthrough role came in 2020 when she starred as Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the Bridgerton family, in Netflix’s Regency-era romance series “Bridgerton.” The series became a global phenomenon, and Dynevor’s performance was praised by critics and audiences alike. For her portrayal of Daphne, she received a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award.

In addition to her acting career, Phoebe Dynevor is an advocate for the ActionAid UK organization, raising awareness for women and girls in poverty. She is also a keen supporter of the NSPCC.
