Born: 27 February 1976, Delta State, Nigeria.
Nikki Amuka-Bird spent her early years in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom with her family at the age of nine.
Amuka-Bird’s love of acting grew and flourished while she was a student at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She graduated from RADA in 2000, equipped with a strong foundation and ready to embark on her professional acting journey.
Amuka-Bird has achieved significant success throughout her career, marked by numerous accomplishments and standout roles. She has showcased her versatility by excelling in various mediums, including theatre, television and film. Amuka-Bird’s stage performances have garnered critical acclaim, earning her nominations for prestigious awards such as the Laurence Olivier Award.
