Born: 19 January 1976, Moston, Manchester, England.Â
From the age of 13, Marsha Thomason immersed herself in the world of theatre, developing her skills at Oldham Theatre Workshop and participating in various youth productions. This early exposure to the stage nurtured her natural talent and ignited her desire to pursue a career in acting.
After completing her studies at Holy Trinity Primary School, North Manchester High School for Girls, and Oldham Sixth Form College, Thomason enrolled at Manchester Metropolitan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Her academic pursuits were complemented by her participation in university productions, further solidifying her passion for acting.
Marsha Thomason’s professional debut came in 1993 with the British television film “Safe.” Her subsequent roles in series like “Pie in the Sky,” “Playing the Field,” and “Where the Heart Is” steadily gained her recognition and paved the way for her breakthrough role in the 2003 American series “Las Vegas.”
Marsha Thomason’s career continued to flourish with notable roles in films like “The Haunted Mansion,” “Black Knight,” and “My Baby’s Daddy.” Her portrayal of FBI agent Diana Berrigan in the USA Network series “White Collar” further showcased her versatility and garnered critical acclaim.
More recently , Thomason has starred in the British crime series “The Bay” as Detective Sergeant Jenn Townsend, a role that has earned her much praise.
In 2009, she married Craig Sykes, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Tallulah Anaïs, in 2013.
