Luke Treadaway is a versatile British actor whose career spans stage, film, and television. He has a twin brother, Harry and both have made significant marks in the acting world.
Growing up in the village of Sandford, Luke’s interest in acting was evident from an early age. He participated in local plays and developed a passion for the performing arts, which was supported by his family.
Luke Treadaway attended Queen Elizabeth’s Community College, where he not only excelled in academics but also showed a keen interest in rugby. However, his love for acting led him to the National Youth Theatre and eventually, he trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), graduating in 2006.
Luke Treadaway’s film debut was in the provocative “Brothers of the Head,” where he played a conjoined twin alongside his real-life twin brother. His filmography includes diverse roles, such as the lead in “A Street Cat Named Bob,” which won the Best British Film Award at the National Film Awards in 2017. He also appeared in notable films like “Clash of the Titans” and “Unbroken.”
On television, Luke Treadaway has been part of several acclaimed series. He portrayed Vincent Rattrey in the chilling drama “Fortitude” and took on the role of Dr. Arthur Calgary in the Agatha Christie adaptation “Ordeal by Innocence.” His performance in “The Hollow Crown” and “Vicious” further showcases his range as an actor.
