Mini Biography

Born: September 14, 1996, Shepherd’s Bush, London, England.

Leo Woodall is a young English actor making waves in the film and television industry. With a family steeped in acting – his father, Andrew, stepfather and grandmother all pursued the craft – it’s no surprise Woodall found himself drawn to the stage. Initially his dream lay in the world of sports but a teenage encounter with the gritty drama “Peaky Blinders” sparked a passion for acting.

Following this newfound inspiration, Woodall enrolled at the Arts Educational School (ArtsEd) in London, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in acting in 2019. Fresh out of school, he began his career with appearances in British soap operas and short films. His big break arrived shortly after, landing a role in the Russo brothers’ film “Cherry” alongside Tom Holland. This marked his first foray into Hollywood, albeit a small part.

Leo Woodall’s career truly took flight with his captivating performance as Jack in the second season of the HBO satirical series “The White Lotus” (2022). Sharing the screen with seasoned actors like Tom Hollander, Woodall held his own. The success of “The White Lotus” propelled Woodall into the spotlight, presenting his talent to a global audience.

Riding this wave of momentum, Woodall landed the lead role of Dexter Mayhew in the 2024 Netflix romantic drama series “One Day.” Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, the series chronicles the lives of two college graduates who reconnect on the same day each year for two decades.
