Born: 13 October 1990, Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, England. 

Himesh Patel grew up in a close-knit family in Huntingdon, where his passion for performing arts was nurtured from a young age. He attended Longsands Academy, where his talent for acting and music became evident. Patel’s interest in acting began during his school years, where he participated in numerous productions and showcased his natural ability to captivate audiences.

After completing his secondary education, Patel pursued a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts at the prestigious University of Warwick.

Himesh Patel’s career took a significant turn in 2019 when he landed the lead role in Danny Boyle’s musical comedy film, “Yesterday.” In the film, Patel plays the character of Jack Malik, a struggling musician who wakes up in a world where The Beatles never existed. His portrayal of Jack Malik earned him critical acclaim and showcased his acting prowess and musical talent.

Prior to “Yesterday,” Patel had already made a name for himself on television screens. He gained recognition for his role as Tamwar Masood in the long-running British soap opera “EastEnders,” where he appeared from 2007 to 2016.
