Harry Styles rose to international fame as a key member of the boy band One Direction, which was formed during the 2010 series of the UK’s singing competition, “The X Factor”. With his soulful vocals, charismatic stage presence and fashion-forward style, Styles quickly emerged as a fan favourite, captivating audiences worldwide.

Styles’ early life was marked by a close bond with his mother, Anne Twist, and his sister, Gemma. After his parents divorced when he was seven, he spent most of his childhood in the Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel. His passion for music ignited early on, and he formed the band White Eskimo with his schoolmates, showcasing his talent as a singer and guitarist.

In 2010, Styles’ talent caught the attention of Simon Cowell on “The X Factor.” Despite being eliminated as a solo contestant, his stage presence and personality were undeniable, leading Cowell to bring him together with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson to form One Direction.

One Direction’s meteoric rise was nothing short of remarkable. Their debut single, “What Makes You Beautiful,” topped the charts in 13 countries, and their self-titled debut album sold over 5 million copies worldwide. Throughout their five-year run, the group released five studio albums, embarked on four world tours, and won numerous awards, including seven BRIT Awards and two American Music Awards.
