Greg Davies is a renowned British comedian, actor, and writer. With his towering height and distinctive booming voice, Davies has become a staple figure in the comedy scene, loved for his unique brand of humour and larger-than-life personality.

Greg Davies was born in St Asaph, Denbighshire, Wales, to parents who worked as teachers. Raised in a household where education was highly valued, Davies excelled academically. He attended Thomas Adams School and later moved to Brunel University in London, where he studied English and Drama.
Davies’ career took off when he made his stand-up comedy debut in 2005 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. His natural ability to engage and entertain audiences quickly gained attention, leading to various opportunities in television and radio. In 2008, he landed a recurring role as Mr. Gilbert in the popular television series, “The Inbetweeners,” which catapulted him to national recognition.

However, it was his own sitcom, “Man Down,” which he wrote and starred in, that truly showcased his talent. The show, which aired from 2013 to 2017, followed the misadventures of a hapless teacher, earning critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
