Born: 21 June 2001, Merseyside, England.Â
One of Eleanor Worthington Cox’s most significant breakthroughs came when she was cast as Matilda Wormwood in the West End production of “Matilda” at just ten years old.
Following this success, she transitioned into film and television roles. In 2012, she made her cinematic debut in Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Dark Shadows,” where she portrayed Carolyn Stoddard alongside renowned actors such as Johnny Depp and Eva Green.
Another notable role for Worthington Cox came in 2016 when she played Janet Hodgson in “The Enfield Haunting,” a chilling miniseries based on true events. She exhibited remarkable range by convincingly portraying both vulnerability and strength within this supernatural thriller.
In recent years, she has continued to make waves with captivating performances across various projects. Notably, she starred as Ruby Bridgeway in the acclaimed TV series “Britannia.”
