Mini Biography

Born: 9 July 1992, Greenwich, London, England. 

Douglas Booth’s mother, with a mix of Spanish and Dutch heritage, instilled a love for the arts, while his English father’s career in shipping finance hinted at a life beyond borders.

He attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).

In 2015, Booth took on the role of John Kildare in The Limehouse Golem, a chilling murder mystery set in Victorian London. The film, based on Peter Ackroyd’s novel, explored the dark underbelly of the city amidst a series of brutal killings.

Two years prior, Booth tackled a literary classic in the BBC miniseries adaptation of Great Expectations. Stepping into the iconic role of Pip, the young orphan who traverses the treacherous waters of wealth and class.

Outside of his acting career, Douglas Booth has also made a name for himself as a successful model. He has worked with renowned fashion brands and appeared in magazines such as Vogue.
