Born: 1993/1994, East London, England.
David Jonsson’s early life was marked by challenges, including expulsion from school. However, it was during this period that he discovered his true calling – acting. Upon entering a new school in Hammersmith, Jonsson confided in his mother about his aspirations. His mother, supportive and understanding, encouraged him to pursue his dreams.
David Jonsson’s talent shone through in his early theatrical endeavours. He developed his skills on the West End, gaining experience in productions such as “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Hamlet.”
Jonsson’s transition to television and film marked a new chapter in his career. His breakthrough role came in the BBC Two and HBO series “Industry,” where he portrayed the ambitious and ambitious character of Theo Globis.
In 2023, starred in the romantic comedy “Rye Lane” and the Agatha Christie whodunnit “Murder is Easy”.
Beyond his acting achievements, David Jonsson has demonstrated a commitment to social justice and diversity in the arts. He is an advocate for greater representation of Black and minority ethnic (BAME) actors in the industry. His efforts to promote inclusivity and challenge stereotypes have earned him recognition as a role model and a champion for diversity.
