Charlotte Hope’s formal education included attending boarding school and pursuing French and Spanish at the University of Oxford. While at Oxford, she actively engaged in university theatre productions, laying the foundation for her professional acting career. Her determination to pursue acting led her to securing an agent, which opened doors to opportunities in theatre and commercials.
A pivotal moment in Hope’s career came in 2013 when she landed the role of Myranda, Ramsay Bolton’s sadistic lover, in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. The role, initially intended for one episode, was extended over three seasons. Her portrayal of Myranda, a captivating yet twisted antagonist, earned her critical acclaim and cemented her position as a rising star.

Beyond Game of Thrones, Hope has demonstrated her range with notable roles in films such as Les Misérables (2012), The Theory of Everything (2014), and North v South (2015). She further expanded her repertoire with television appearances in The Musketeers (2014), The Bastard Executioner (2015) and The Princess of Spain (2019), where she portrayed the formidable Catherine of Aragon.
Amidst her successful acting career, Hope maintains a private life, keeping her personal affairs out of the spotlight. She is known for her philanthropic endeavours, supporting causes such as the NSPCC and the British Red Cross.
