Born: 27 February 1976, Delta State, Nigeria. 

Nikki Amuka-Bird spent her early years in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom with her family at the age of nine.

Amuka-Bird’s passion for acting blossomed during her time at the esteemed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. She graduated from RADA in 2000, equipped with a strong foundation and ready to embark on her professional acting journey.

Throughout her impressive career, Amuka-Bird has amassed a number of notable achievements and career highlights. She has showcased her versatility by excelling in various mediums, including theatre, television, and film. Amuka-Bird’s stage performances have garnered critical acclaim, earning her nominations for prestigious awards such as the Laurence Olivier Award. Her exceptional talent has led her to collaborate with renowned theatre companies like the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.
