Born: 21 August 1985, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.

Laura Haddock was born to parents Deborah and Colin Haddock. She developed an interest in performing arts at a young age and began honing her skills by participating in school plays and local theatre productions. Her dedication led her to pursue higher education at the Arts Educational School in Chiswick, London.

Haddock’s career took off when she landed a role as Beryl Ballard in the popular period drama series “Upstairs Downstairs” (2010-2012). Her portrayal of a maid-turned-secretary earned critical acclaim and showcased her talent for bringing complex characters to life.

One of Laura Haddock’s notable roles came with the historical fantasy series “Da Vinci’s Demons” (2013-2015), where she played Lucrezia Donati opposite Tom Riley. Her performance as Leonardo da Vinci’s lover garnered attention from audiences worldwide, establishing her as a rising star within the industry.

After gaining recognition on television, Laura successfully transitioned into films. She appeared alongside Chris Pratt in Marvel Studios’ highly successful movie “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014) playing Meredith Quill – Peter Quill/Star-Lord’s mother. This breakthrough role further solidified her reputation as a talented actress capable of captivating audiences on both small screens and big screens alike.
